MORRISVILLE WATER/ SEWER RATES

January 1, 2024
Water Rates for metered service are:

  • Rate, per 1,000 gallons, quarterly:      $10.51 per thousand

Bulk rate (customers under contract for a minimum of 500,000 gallons per day) = $5.97 per thousand gallons

The minimum charge for metered service is $52.55 per quarter, which includes the first 5,000 gallons consumed per quarter.

Sewer Rates for metered service are:

  • Rate, per 1,000 gallons, quarterly:          $8.38

The minimum charge for metered service is $41.90 per quarter, which includes the first 5,000 gallons discharged per quarter.

The sewer rates for multiple units (which are not separately metered and billed) are $41.90 per quarter for the first unit and $38.05 per quarter for every other connected unit, and include a volume of sanitary sewage equal to 5,000 gallons multiplied by the total number of connected units (the “combined minimum allowance”).

The charge in excess of such combined minimum allowance is determined by (1) subtracting the combined minimum allowance from (2) the total volume of water purchased each quarter as measured by the single meter and (3) charging $8.38 per thousand for all amounts in excess thereof.

Sewer Rates for metered service are:

  • Rate, per 1,000 gallons:                    $10.48
The minimum charge for metered service is $52.40  per quarter, which includes the first 5,000 gallons discharged.

 

 

SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES

Discharge into the sanitary sewage collection system, including (but not limited to) effluent categorized as “industrial waste,” is subject to rate surcharges for high concentrations of certain constituents, as well as prohibitions for constituents above certain limits.  Please contact the WWTP Superintendent or MMA Executive Director, who can provide detailed information about surcharges and limitations.  The Morrisville Municipal Authority has years of experience with those issues, and will work in collaboration with your experts to try to manage your needs.

KEYSTONE TRADE CENTER SERVICE DISTRICT

  • Water & Sewer Utility Fee: $50.00
  • Fire Service Fee : $50.00
  • Fee for each installed meter as follows:
    • 1″ and under:       $10.00
    • 1 1/2″ & 2″:           $20.00
    • 3″:                          $30.00
    • 4″:                          $40.00
    • 6″:                          $85.00
    • 8″:                          $175.00
    • 10″:                        $300.00
    • 12″ and over:       $500.00
  • Rates for metered potable water consumption and services per 1,000 gallons per month (GPM) should be:
    • up to 10,000 GPM $9.19
    • over 10,000 GPM  $6.44
  • Rates for raw (service) water consumption and services 1,000 GPM shall be:
    • Retail Unmetered: $2.45 (not to exceed 100,000 GPM total.
    • Retail metered: $2.33 (0-15,000,000 per month MGM
    • Wholesale Flat rate: (between 15 MG (+1) but not exceeding 60 MGM $34,950.00
    • Wholesale over 60 MGM: $0.58
  • Rates for Sanitary sewer collection and services per 1,000 GPM shall be:
    • Metered: $8.38
    • Monthly flat rate (per EDU) $75.00
