Public water and sewer providers such as the Morrisville Municipal Authority (MMA) are required by law to notify our customers in the event of emergencies related to your water service.
Regulations published by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) require that customers be notified by the most efficient direct delivery method(s) possible. This includes electronic mailing and automatic telephone dialing.
The MMA is a member of “SwiftReach,” a notification network using computerized data and mapping technology. We also will be using this technology to offer non-emergency, but important, water and sewer system information – such as flushing notices, repair notifications, and the like.
